The review of lecture 7

I'm really impressed by the concept of "shadow as threshold". It talks about how shadow works as a linking, as connection, not even in spatial, but also in time and other cases. I really like this as it shows the inside meaning of shadow, it gets out of the old concept that shadow works as a shading or just product of the sun. It, with unknown quantity and comforting feature, can makes it work as a pause in the building and a good place for resting or discussing. So these features really suits a conference room or a lounge. That's why I add quite many concrete slices and columns into the model, as they built up the a large shadow which still can let sunlight passes through. As the two clients of mine are scientists, such a mild environment will definitely suit their "scholar-ish" personality.
